Susanne GoldiePsychologist

I am a registered psychologist with over 12 years’ experience applying psychological practice across a variety of settings.  I work with people of all ages including young people and families and people with diverse cultural backgrounds.

My perspective is strongly grounded in the belief that everyone has the capacity to develop and make personal change, and that making mistakes is what makes us human but we can continue striving towards our full potential.

I practice an holistic approach that integrates elements of humanistic, client-centred therapy, emotion-focused therapy and cognitive behavioural therapy depending on what is most appropriate for the client’s needs.

My areas of expertise and special interest include anxiety disorders, depression, interpersonal problems, trauma, personal growth and family therapy.

Having worked for several years as an organisational psychologist and executive in a range of corporate settings, I am also experienced in supporting individuals with issues associated with their work.  This includes workplace stress, adjustment to professional transitions and the often challenging cross-over between personal and professional life.
